Hanseong Cleantech Begins First Commercial Sales of 'Ammonium Sulfate' Recycled from High-Concentration Waste Liquid

On June 8, Hanseong Cleantech, a specialized EPC company in industrial water treatment and ultrapure water, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, EN Water Solution, has commenced the first commercial sales of 'ammonium sulfate' recycled from high-concentration industrial liquid waste.

The industrial recycled material 'ammonium sulfate,' which has begun sales, was supplied to a domestic chemical company. The initial shipment was approximately 25 tons, and the company plans to continue additional deliveries of more than 50 tons within the month.

The company operates its business based on facilities and technological capabilities that safely process high-concentration liquid waste generated by advanced industries. With the commercialization of this material recycling research achievement, the company has established a foundation for a dramatic improvement in its profit structure by simultaneously reducing the cost of conventional waste treatment and securing new revenue from supplying high value-added resources to the market.

Ammonium sulfate is a high value-added resource that is widely used not only as an agricultural fertilizer but also as an intermediate material, reagent, pH adjuster, and ammonia remover in denitrification facilities in the chemical and industrial sectors. In particular, demand for high-purity industrial ammonium sulfate continues to increase in the domestic market, highlighting the economic value of supplying recycled raw materials.

A company representative emphasized, "The launch of recycled ammonium sulfate sales marks the first substantial business achievement among the high-concentration liquid waste recycling research outcomes that EN Water Solution has been pursuing for several years."

Meanwhile, EN Water Solution is also actively pursuing the recycling business for 'fluorite' in addition to ammonium sulfate. Fluorite is a resource that serves as a key material across advanced manufacturing industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, and steel, and is gaining attention as a strategic mineral due to global supply chain instability.

A company representative stated, "We have completed the development of technology to extract high-purity fluorite from high-concentration waste liquid generated in advanced industries, and we are currently conducting pilot tests for mass production, aiming to begin sales within this year."
