More than 100 participants, including representatives from middle and high school student councils within the district and Green Wings youth members, attended the event. The program included sharing key projects from each school, as well as a roundtable discussion on youth policy, among other activities designed to strengthen their autonomy and leadership skills.
Guro District organized this event to encourage young people to actively participate in self-governance as members of the local community, and to provide opportunities for them to directly propose and discuss youth policies in Guro.
The event was attended by 74 student council representatives from middle and high schools and 30 Green Wings youth members, totaling more than 100 participants. The youth presented their own policy suggestions for Guro District and their schools, shared their perspectives on the community, and exchanged their opinions.
Jang Inhong, head of Guro District Office, stated, "This event was a very meaningful occasion, structured to allow youth to propose policies themselves and demonstrate their autonomy. We plan to further expand opportunities for youth-led participation in the future."
