BTS RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook to Be Discharged Next Week

RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook of the group BTS will complete their active duty service in the Army and be discharged next week. RM and V will take off their uniforms on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook will do so on June 11.

BigHit Music, their agency, announced on June 7, "There will be no official event on the day of discharge, and each location is extremely small, raising concerns about safety accidents due to overcrowding." The agency added, "We earnestly ask that you refrain from visiting the sites in person, prioritizing the safety of both the artists and fans above all else."

The agency further stated, "We kindly request that you send your warm welcome and encouragement to RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in your hearts."

They enlisted and have been serving since December 2023. Jin and J-Hope, who enlisted earlier, were discharged last year, and Suga is scheduled to be released from service on June 21.
