Helping Unemployed Women Find Jobs... Daegu Dong-A Department Store Good Job Event to Hire 42 People from 9 Companies

Daegu City will hold the 'On-site Women's Job Good Job' event for women who are career-interrupted or unemployed and seeking employment. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on June 9 at Dong-A Department Store Shopping Branch (Exits 15, 16, and 17 of Banwoldang Station).

The event is organized by the Southern Women's Saeil Center and will feature participation from nine companies, with plans to hire approximately 42 women. The recruitment will be conducted through direct hiring?where candidates are interviewed and hired on the spot (three companies, 23 positions)?and indirect hiring, in which job seekers are recommended to companies (six companies, 19 positions). The available positions include care workers, maternal and newborn health managers, accounting clerks, and manufacturing production staff, among others.

The three companies offering direct on-site hiring are Daegu Happy School Foundation, Cheongchun Rehabilitation Daycare Center, and Sugarmom Care Co., Ltd. The six companies participating in indirect hiring are Yeungnam University Medical Center, OMS Beauty Company, Samil Enterprise Financial Support Group Co., Ltd., Jeonghyang Silverville Co., Ltd. East Daegu Plant, and Hwaseong Specialized Nursing Home.

Additionally, participants can receive a variety of employment support services, including one-on-one customized job counseling that takes into account individual career history, age, and career interruption period, as well as job information and guidance on vocational training courses. Side events will include a job preference test, a campaign to prevent career interruption, and employment image-making sessions. Souvenirs and beverages will also be provided to participants.

This event will be held at Dong-A Department Store Shopping Branch, just a two-minute walk from Banwoldang Station, improving accessibility for local residents and job seekers.
