Korea Habitat, an international nonprofit housing welfare organization, announced on June 5 that it had held a charity bazaar for single-parent families. The event took place the previous day at the Novella Hall of The Riverside Hotel, organized by the Korea Habitat Women's Committee. Many citizens and sponsors visited the bazaar, joining together in a spirit of warm sharing.
The event was held to raise funds for the "Women Build" project. More than 20 companies and brands, including Good Earth Lab, Lee Youngjoo Collection, Jung Saem Mool Beauty, and Micheonju, participated in the bazaar and donated their proceeds. According to the organizers, a wide variety of items were available for sale, such as golf equipment, food products, accessories, kitchenware, fashion apparel, and cosmetics, which received an enthusiastic response from participants.
The funds raised through this bazaar will be used to build homes for elderly neighbors in vulnerable housing situations, with the aim of helping them enjoy safer and more comfortable lives.

The "Women Build" charity bazaar, which began in 2001, has become the signature fundraising event of the Korea Habitat Women's Committee. It is a meaningful event where women participate in both fundraising and construction, driving positive change in society. The initiative has provided new homes to more than 28 vulnerable families, including single-parent and multicultural families, both in Korea and abroad. In 2024, the funds raised from the bazaar were used to create a rest area for elderly active and retired haenyeo (female divers) living on Jeju Island.
A Korea Habitat representative stated, "Thanks to the valuable participation of so many people again this year, we were able to raise meaningful funds," and added, "We will continue to strive to improve housing welfare so that marginalized neighbors can live better lives."
