Korea Development Bank Holds Farewell Ceremony for Chairman Kang Seokhoon

Completing a Three-Year Term

On the afternoon of June 5, Korea Development Bank (KDB) held a farewell ceremony for Chairman Kang Seokhoon in the main auditorium, attended by executives and employees.


In his farewell address, Chairman Kang reflected on the major achievements of the past three years, including the successful completion of restructuring issues such as the privatization of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and the integration of national airlines, fostering advanced strategic industries such as AI (artificial intelligence) and semiconductors to contribute to the revitalization of the Korean economy, building an innovation ecosystem, and revitalizing regional economies.


He also urged executives and employees to always keep the future in mind as they carry out their duties, to continue supporting AI-based industries, and to strive for a "greater Korea Development Bank." He expressed his gratitude and wished for the continued success and limitless growth of Korea Development Bank and its employees.
