June 5-8 at COEX
Promotional Booths and Joint Souvenir Exhibitions to Be Operated
Ulsan City will participate in the 40th Seoul International Tourism Fair (SITF 2025), which will be held at COEX in Seoul from June 5 to June 8, to showcase the city’s tourism attractions.
This tourism fair, recognized as Korea’s leading international tourism event, will feature participation from 45 countries and regions, as well as over 400 companies. Last year, the event attracted a total of approximately 42,000 visitors. This year, marking its 40th anniversary, the fair will be held under the theme of "Festivals" both domestic and international.
Ulsan City will operate a promotional booth under the theme "Experiential Festival Travel - Wasseo Ulsan!" to introduce Ulsan’s major tourist destinations and hands-on experiences.
The city will also run district-specific tourism promotion booths and a joint souvenir showcase. The focus will be on promoting Ulsan’s unique tourist attractions, culture, and experiences, as well as major festivals, with special emphasis on "Wasseo Ulsan."
A variety of on-site events for visitors will be offered. Through the "Did you download Wasseo Ulsan? Here’s your gift!" event and the "Roll the Dice! Guess Ulsan!" dice quiz event, the city plans to introduce "Wasseo Ulsan" and tourism information for each district in an engaging way.
"Wasseo Ulsan" is an online integrated tourism platform that utilizes generative artificial intelligence to provide real-time, customized tourism services, allowing visitors to conveniently access a range of services such as accommodation, transportation, and dining.
A city official stated, "Through this year’s Seoul International Tourism Fair, we aim to promote Ulsan’s diverse tourism appeal and actively enhance its image as a summer destination, one of the city’s beautiful four seasons. We encourage the interest and participation of many visitors."
