"Lee Junseok Ambitious to Become the New Leader of the Conservative Bloc"

Jeon Han-gil, a former Korean history instructor, analyzed the causes of Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, losing the 6·3 presidential election and pointed to former Reform Party candidate Lee Junseok and former People Power Party leader Han Donghoon as responsible.
On June 4, Jeon posted a video titled "Analysis of the 6·3 Presidential Election Results and Future Strategies for the Liberal Conservative Bloc" on his YouTube channel, "Jeon Han-gil News."
Jeon cited the "failure to unify the candidates" as the first cause of defeat. He said, "If Kim Moonsoo and Lee Junseok had joined forces, they would have had 49.49%. Of course, even if they had unified, not all the votes would have gone to Kim Moonsoo, but if Kim Moonsoo and Lee Junseok had managed to unify, I believe they would have won in the end."
He continued, "Kim Moonsoo's camp reached out several times. They offered the position of Prime Minister, and even proposed forming a coalition government. Although the Reform Party has only three seats, they made the proposal under the banner of uniting against Lee Jaemyung. However, Lee Junseok refused, likely because he wanted to become the new leader of the Korean conservative bloc in the future, even if he lost the presidential election."
Jeon argued, "Ultimately, from this perspective, the number one contributor to Lee Jaemyung's victory is Lee Junseok. If those opposed to Lee Jaemyung had united, at the very least, they could have prevented Lee Jaemyung from becoming president."
He also unleashed criticism toward former leader Han Donghoon. He claimed that if the party line had been maintained ahead of the impeachment crisis of former President Yoon Sukyeol, the impeachment vote would have been rejected, and there would have been no need to involve the Constitutional Court or any connection to insurrection.
Jeon asserted, "(Han Donghoon) is a triple offender who destroyed the conservative bloc," adding, "Who joined hands with the Democratic Party in the National Assembly during the emergency martial law? It was Han Donghoon and his close associates. He stabbed former President Yoon Sukyeol, who had helped his rise, in the back and led to Yoon's impeachment."
He further criticized, "Did Han Donghoon do anything to help Kim Moonsoo win? If he had, he should have joined hands with Kim Moonsoo from the beginning and appeared in the presidential election news, but instead, he just played around with fan clubs and brought food. Han Donghoon did something a politician should never do. He is a spy sent by the Democratic Party, and the same goes for Lee Junseok."
