From May 26 to June 2, the company personally delivered packed lunches and snacks to farmers in three towns: Gampo-eup, Munmu-daewang-myeon, and Yangnam-myeon.
Jung Wonho, Head of Wolseong Headquarters, along with Heo Daeyoung, Director of External Cooperation, and other staff members, visited the rice planting sites in person and provided lunch and refreshments to about 400 farmers, supporting their safe and bountiful farming activities.
This initiative was carried out as part of efforts to secure the trust of the local community, which is essential for the continued operation of Wolseong Units 2, 3, and 4, and to increase public acceptance of the project through regular communication with residents.
Jung Wonho, Head of Wolseong Headquarters, stated, "Development together with the local community is the true future of nuclear energy," and added, "We will continue to carry out small but meaningful acts of sharing to help alleviate the difficulties faced by local residents."
Going forward, Wolseong Headquarters plans to continue a variety of communication activities that local residents can directly experience, while promoting key projects such as the continued operation of Wolseong Units 2, 3, and 4.
