Challenging for Second Win of the Season After Last Month's SK Telecom Open
"I Will Prepare Hard and Achieve Victory in My Hometown"

'Busan native' Jaeung Eom is aiming for victory in his hometown.

From June 5, the Baeksong Holdings Asiad CC Busan Open, part of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour, will be held over four days at the Busan Asiad Country Club (par 71, 7,104 yards). Eom will compete for his second win of the season, his fourth career victory, and his second title at this tournament. The total prize money is 1 billion won.

Jaeung Eom debuted on the KPGA Tour in 2009. He claimed his first victory at the 2018 Huons Celebrity Pro-Am, then added wins at the 2023 Baeksong Holdings-Asiad CC Busan Open and the SK Telecom Open on May 18 of this year, bringing his career total to three wins. Eom is originally from Busan. Having already won in Busan two years ago, his confidence is even higher.

However, maintaining consistency is key. This year, he has played in five tournaments but made the cut in only two, missing the cut three times. Eom said, "Every time I compete in this tournament in my hometown of Busan, I always receive tremendous support," adding, "I will prepare thoroughly and achieve my second win of the season here."
