The "Visiting Environmental Puppet Show" is an experiential educational program designed to help children, as the next generation, easily understand the importance of the climate crisis and carbon neutrality, and to foster a sense of practical action in their daily lives.

This puppet show has been running a total of 20 times from May to July, targeting local daycare center children and others. A professional puppet theater troupe visits daycare centers and welfare centers directly, allowing children to participate in the education regardless of location. This is a key feature of the program.

The performance, titled "Gomi's Special Journey," follows a polar bear named Gomi as it sets out to discover why the Earth is suffering. Through the show, children naturally come to understand the causes of the climate crisis and have the opportunity to think about possible solutions.

The puppet show delivers the somewhat challenging topic of the climate crisis to children in a fun and easy-to-understand way, and it is receiving positive feedback from both the children who participate and childcare staff.

A Gijang County official stated, "We hope that this puppet show will help children naturally develop an interest in environmental issues and form habits of practicing carbon neutrality," adding, "We plan to continue expanding customized environmental education for infants and children in the future."
