Continuing Since 2018

Covestro Korea, a German materials company, conducted volunteer activities at the National Cemetery ahead of Memorial Day.

On June 4, Covestro Korea announced that it had carried out a cleaning activity at Section 28 of the Seoul National Cemetery on May 29. Employees participated in this activity, where, after paying their respects, they improved the environment of the cemetery by placing Mugunghwa flowers and Taegukgi flags, as well as collecting wilted flowers and trash.

Covestro has continued volunteer activities at the National Cemetery since 2018. In April of last year, the company officially formed a sisterhood relationship with this section of the cemetery. Regular volunteer activities are held every year ahead of Memorial Day and Armed Forces Day.

Chief Executive Officer Kwangho Yeon said, "I hope this cemetery cleaning activity provided a meaningful opportunity for all employees to once again engrave a sense of gratitude toward those who gave their lives for the country," adding, "We will continue our efforts to spread positive influence in the future."
