Three Limited Edition Cards Released in Collaboration with Influencer "Chimchakman"
Special Launch Promotion: 20,000, 10,000, and 3,000 Won Cashback Offers
K Bank announced on June 4 that it has launched a limited edition of 40,000 "ONE Check Card Chimchakman Edition" cards in collaboration with the influencer "Chimchakman."
This is the third limited edition check card, following last year's releases featuring the "Todairi" and "Kkamja" characters.
"Chimchakman" is an influencer and former webtoon artist with 2.82 million YouTube subscribers.
The ONE Check Card is K Bank's flagship check card, which ranked first in popularity among check cards in the first quarter of this year on the card product platform "CardGorilla." Users can freely select and use various cashback benefits without any performance requirements or annual fees, and it also offers K-Pass and public transportation cashback (3,000 won). Overseas payments are also possible through a partnership with VISA.
K Bank prepared six check card designs featuring Chimchakman's signature quotes, characters, and works, and selected the final three designs through a customer vote. More than 100,000 people participated in the voting over a 10-day period, generating significant attention even before the release.
The three designs of the ONE Check Card Chimchakman Edition selected through the vote are: ▲ "Rough Black-and-White Quote Card" ▲ "Card for Those Who Want to Stay Calm" ▲ "Chimchakman Wappen Card." Chimchakman personally designed the cards with handwritten quotes, signature characters, and CI illustrations.
Customers can choose their preferred design, ranging from simple to vibrant character styles, and apply for issuance. Existing check card holders are also eligible to apply.
To celebrate the launch, a cashback promotion will run until June 15. Customers who register the Chimchakman Edition card with Naver Pay and make payments will receive cashback coupons. For a single payment of 300,000 won or more, customers will receive 20,000 won; for 200,000 won or more, 10,000 won; and for 50,000 won or more, 3,000 won in cash, allowing a maximum cashback of up to 33,000 won.
A K Bank representative said, "We have prepared this edition to provide both fun and benefits in financial life by combining the ONE Check Card, known for its differentiated perks, with the highly popular Chimchakman. These fun elements are also translating into actual business results."
