"The Greatest Task Is Winning Re-Election"
Lee Jae Myung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, commented on divisive politics on June 2, stating, "People resort to dividing sides and trying to take everything for one side only when they lack competence," and added, "What matters is being loyal to the people and doing a good job."

During a live broadcast of the Democratic Party's official YouTube channel 'JjinmakYuse123' on the same day, Lee said, "We have no need to do that," and added, "I believe the most important task for a democratic government is to win re-election."
Lee emphasized, "The way to achieve this is by improving people's lives," and continued, "It is important that society becomes more just, hope is created, and corruption is reduced."
Lee also said, "If you engage in divisive politics, improvement does not come easily. All energy is spent fighting," and added, "While politicians have their own sides, the people do not."
