Daehong Communications announced on June 2 that, effective June 1, Deokhee Kim, CEO of Daehong Communications, has been appointed as the new CEO of its subsidiary Spoon (SPOON.D).
Spoon is a subsidiary specializing in digital content production and media solutions. This appointment is a strategic measure aimed at strengthening integrated communication and capabilities at both Daehong Communications and its subsidiary. As the advertising and marketing market shifts to a digital focus, Daehong Communications plans to enhance its digital capabilities and improve operational efficiency between the headquarters and its subsidiary, thereby bolstering the future competitiveness of Daehong Communication Group (DCG).
Deokhee Kim will serve concurrently as CEO of both Daehong Communications and Spoon, with plans to reinforce seamless collaboration between the headquarters and the subsidiary. Additionally, he aims to drive consistent strategic execution and synergy in the fields of digital marketing and media solutions.
Daehong Communications intends to further advance Spoon’s digital content and media capabilities, accelerating the growth of both companies across the digital sector?including the rapidly expanding digital out-of-home advertising (DOOH) market.
