Jay Y Lee Oversees Hoam Prize for Fourth Year, Continuing "Talent First" Philosophy (Comprehensive)

Jay Y Lee Continues "Talent First" Philosophy of Predecessors
Over 50 Samsung Executives from Affiliates Attend the Event

Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y Lee made a personal appearance at the Samsung Hoam Prize Awards Ceremony. This move is interpreted as an effort to carry on Samsung's management philosophy, which places great importance on nurturing talent, as exemplified by donations to the Hoam Foundation.

On the afternoon of the 30th, Chairman Lee visited the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, ahead of the 35th Samsung Hoam Prize Awards Ceremony. As he did last year, he proceeded directly to the event without making any public statements. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Chairman Lee has personally overseen the Hoam Prize Awards Ceremony, and the third year since he assumed the chairmanship. His actions are seen as a continuation of the "Talent First" and "Companionship" philosophies emphasized by his predecessors, especially through contributions to the Hoam Foundation.
