Jeonju University (President Park Jinbae) has been selected for the '2025-2026 University Support Project for Contribution to High School Education' organized by the Ministry of Education.
According to Jeonju University on May 30, the 'University Support Project for Contribution to High School Education' aims to encourage universities to reflect high school education and operate university admissions processes in a fair and transparent manner, thereby alleviating the burden of college entrance exams for students and enhancing the quality of high school education.
Through its selection for this project, Jeonju University plans to implement core initiatives to expand cooperation between high schools and universities, and to strengthen accountability and fairness in the college admissions process. Notably, since launching the 'Admissions Officer Support Project' in 2008, Jeonju University has achieved the distinction of being the only institution in North Jeolla Province to be selected for this project for 18 consecutive years.
Lee Geunho, Dean of Admissions, stated, "We will continue to make every effort to reduce the burden on applicants and their parents in the admissions process, and to ensure that college admissions are conducted fairly and stably by reflecting the high school curriculum. As a university contributing to high school education, we will do our utmost to play a leading role in nurturing local talent and advancing regional industries, based on our sense of responsibility."
