Gyeonggi-do Conducts Leadership Group Coaching for Level 4 and 5 Public Officials to Innovate Organizational Culture

On May 28 and 29, Gyeonggi-do conducted leadership coaching training for 40 public officials at levels 4 and 5 at Gonjiam Resort in Gwangju over a two-day period.

The training was designed to foster "warm and smart leaders" who can proactively respond to changes in the future environment and to enhance the communication and empathy skills of middle managers.

Gyeonggi-do operates the "Gyeonggi-do Leadership Coaching Program" every year to strengthen organizational management capabilities. From March to May of this year, the province provided individual coaching to 40 managers.

Lee Junghwa, Director of Human Resources at Gyeonggi-do, stated, "When leaders change first, the organization can change together," and added, "We will continue to expand tailored leadership training according to the rank and role of public officials to further strengthen the execution and adaptability of Gyeonggi-do's public sector."

Meanwhile, in July, Gyeonggi-do plans to conduct an integrated group coaching session and a special lecture on coaching skills for department and team-level senior officials who participated in the leadership coaching program.
