[Breaking] Lee Jaemyung: "Will Establish Independent Ministry of Climate and Energy as Quickly as Possible"

On May 28, Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated, "Our country needs to undergo an energy transition, but there is no dedicated ministry for energy; it is currently just a part of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy." He added, "I will quickly establish an independent Ministry of Climate and Energy."
