On May 28, JB Garden Center (CEO Kim Jungbeom) visited Yeongyang County Office and donated 3,000 seedlings, including Eunchung spruce and one other species.
JB Garden Center is a key player in the Korean plant market, cultivating professional talent and advancing knowledge in a variety of fields that are central to the seedling industry in Korea, including education, new variety breeding and development, licensing, and tissue culture.
This seedling donation is intended to be distributed to tourists at the birch forest in Yeongyang County and planted at the county nursery for use in landscaping projects within the county.
Kim Jungbeom, CEO of JB Garden Center, stated, "We decided to make this donation with the hope of spreading the culture of sharing and supporting areas affected by wildfires. We will continue to grow together with the local community."
Oh Dochang, Governor of Yeongyang County, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank CEO Kim Jungbeom for his generosity in donating to a region deeply affected by wildfires. We will do our utmost to ensure the swift recovery from wildfire damage."
