CEO Kim was highly praised for his contributions to the advancement of Korea's space industry over the past 26 years, including leading private sector-driven development of small and medium-sized satellites, achieving independence in ultra-high-resolution Earth observation technology, and pioneering both domestic and overseas markets.

Satrec Initiative independently developed the SpaceEye-T, a 25cm-class ultra-high-resolution electro-optical satellite, securing world-class ultra-high-resolution observation technology among commercial satellites. The company also became the first in Korea to develop mass-produced ultra-small satellites with high efficiency and economic feasibility.

In his acceptance speech, CEO Kim stated, "Satrec Initiative holds a sense of responsibility as a leading company driving the ecosystem of Korea's space industry, going beyond being a simple satellite manufacturer," adding, "We will continue to do our best to contribute to the growth of Korea's space industry through technological innovation and public-private cooperation."

Satrec Initiative plans to commercialize the imagery data from SpaceEye-T, which was launched in March, starting in August. Based on this, the company aims to establish a service ecosystem for satellite data utilization and actively expand into the global data market.
