Siwoo Kim is aiming for a victory at a premier tournament.

From May 29 (local time), the Memorial Tournament of the PGA Tour will take place over four days at Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72, 7,569 yards) in Dublin, Ohio, United States. The tournament offers a total prize fund of $20 million, with $4 million awarded to the winner. Many top-ranked players are participating. Defending champion and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA) is seeking to defend his title and claim his third victory of the season.

Siwoo Kim is currently the Korean player in the best form. He has played in 17 tournaments this year, finishing in the top 25 on eight occasions. In his most recent six appearances, he placed in the top 10 twice. He tied for eighth at the RBC Heritage last month and again at the PGA Championship, a major tournament, on May 18. By consistently achieving strong results in every tournament he enters, he is maintaining a steady pursuit of victory.

Most notably, Kim has a strong affinity for this course, having posted impressive results at this event. He tied for ninth in 2021, tied for 13th in 2022, finished fourth in 2023, and tied for 15th last year. This tournament presents an opportunity for his first win of the 2025 season and the fifth victory of his career. In the first round, Siwoo Kim will play alongside Adam Scott (Australia).
