Tongmyong University Opens "Practical Real Estate Investment Department" at Busan Citizens' University

A department focused on practical real estate investment strategies has opened at Tongmyong University.

The university's Lifelong Education Center announced that, together with Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan Women's and Family Development Institute, and the Lifelong Education Promotion Agency, it held the entrance ceremony for the 2025 Busan Citizens' University "Practical Real Estate Investment Department" on May 26.

The course will be held for a total of 20 weeks (first and second semesters) until November in Room 304 of the Tongmyong University Graduate School. The curriculum is practice-oriented, and expert Park Sangho is in charge of the auction and NPL subjects.

Additionally, Park Youngsook, the chief professor, is responsible for the introduction to practical real estate; Kim Seho, an expert, covers commercial property investment and analysis of the Busan commercial district; Jung Hyunju, an expert, teaches land development; Shim Bongseop, a tax accountant, is in charge of tax law; and Lee Seunghun, an expert, teaches redevelopment and reconstruction investment strategies.

Tae Dongsook, director of the Lifelong Education Center, stated, "As we enter a super-aged society, providing citizens with practical investment solutions is a new challenge for lifelong education," adding, "We will continue to offer citizen-centered, practical education programs."
