On May 27, Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced that it will conduct a demand survey targeting young people in order to implement youth competency enhancement education programs for the second half of the year that reflect their actual needs.
The county will carry out the "2025 Youth Competency Enhancement Education" demand survey for local residents aged 19 to 49 until June 5. The survey consists of a total of 11 questions and aims to identify the types of education, hobbies, and cultural programs that young people truly want. The results will be used as foundational data for designing youth competency enhancement education programs for the second half of the year. Eligible participants are young people aged 19 to 49 residing in Hampyeong County, and they can participate either by visiting their nearest town or township office or online.
A county official stated, "If young people propose courses they want and directly gather participants to request the opening of a class, the administration will actively accommodate these requests. As this is the first step in youth participatory education, we hope for active participation from young people."
