Applications accepted until June 13
100 trainees to be selected for July training
The Financial Supervisory Service is recruiting trainees to cultivate professional financial education instructors in order to provide high-quality financial education.
The Financial Supervisory Service announced that it will select 100 trainees for the professional financial education instructor training program from May 28 to June 13. Those selected will participate in the training from July 22 to July 25.
Those who complete at least 80% of the training, or those who meet the required teaching experience, will be eligible to apply for the professional instructor certification exam in the future. Individuals who have taught at least 25 times or for over 50 hours within the past three years may apply for the certification exam without undergoing the training.
Applicants must have at least five years of combined experience at financial-related institutions, financial companies, or as teachers as of the application date, and must not have any disqualifying reasons for becoming a professional financial education instructor. In addition, they must not have participated in the instructor training program within the last two years from the announcement date of this training.
If the number of applicants exceeds 100, trainees will be selected through a random draw. The training will take place at the Financial Supervisory Service headquarters, and applications can be submitted online via the 'e-Financial Education Center' website.
