Business Agreement Signed
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on May 27 that it had signed a business agreement with the Jeonnam Police Agency on May 26 at its main office to establish a system for inspecting illegal filming cameras and supporting schools.
This agreement was established to proactively respond to digital sex crimes and to create an educational environment where students and staff can feel safe.

Under the agreement, the police will conduct thorough inspections using specialized equipment and personnel in facilities vulnerable to illegal filming, such as restrooms, dormitories, and changing rooms within schools in the Jeonnam area. In addition, both organizations have agreed to establish a continuous joint inspection system to work together in preventing illegal filming within schools.
The main contents of the agreement include cooperation in inspecting locations vulnerable to illegal filming, joint promotion of illegal filming prevention, and collaboration in digital sex crime prevention education and publicity. The two organizations will discuss and determine the detailed implementation plans. The Provincial Office of Education plans to use this agreement as an opportunity to strengthen the organic cooperation system among the Office of Education, the Police Agency, and schools, and to establish practical school safety measures focused on prevention.
Police Chief Mo Sangmyo stated, "We will actively support with specialized personnel and equipment to eliminate blind spots in safety and work together to protect the educational field."
Superintendent Kim Daejung said, "It is most important to create an environment where students and staff can feel safe in their daily lives," adding, "We will raise awareness of illegal filming and further strengthen prevention activities."
