The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 27th that it had recently signed a business agreement with the Korea Expressway Service Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters to promote volunteer activities and a culture of sharing.
The signing ceremony, held on the 26th, was attended by Chun Byungtae, Director of the Korea Expressway Service Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, Park Heungcheol, Secretary-General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, and employees of the Korea Expressway Service Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters. This agreement was established to promote the development of social contribution activities and to revitalize community engagement by the Korea Expressway Service Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters and its employees.
The Korea Expressway Service Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters contributed to the local community last year through various social contribution activities, including providing kimchi to low-income families, offering scholarships to people with disabilities, supplying goods to low-income households, conducting blood donation campaigns, supporting organizations providing affordable meals, and participating in river preservation campaigns. This year, through a love-sharing agreement with the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, the organization has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing social contribution in the community.
Chun Byungtae, Director of the Korea Expressway Service Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, stated, "Community contribution activities have become an important part of both our employees' and our company's operations.
