The inspection and verification team is responsible for conducting daily site inspections and managing the installation status throughout the temporary housing project. A dedicated official prepares a daily inspection log for the temporary housing and reports it to the county office situation room every day, ensuring that the project proceeds swiftly and stably.
To this end, Yeongdeok County has appointed Vice Governor Moon Sungjun as the chief supervisor, and the heads of Yeongdeok-eup, Jipum-myeon, and Chuksan-myeon as team leaders. Three teams, consisting of a total of 20 members, are operated to support tasks such as electrical connection and inspection, gas installation, water and sewage installation and inspection, as well as health care and psychological counseling.
As of the 24th, the county has confirmed the installation of a total of 769 temporary housing units across 803 buildings. Of these, 415 households (434 buildings) are in Yeongdeok-eup, 212 households (220 buildings) are in Jipum-myeon, and 142 households (149 buildings) are in Chuksan-myeon. Dedicated officials have been assigned to each area to provide systematic cooperation and support at the village level.
County Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "We are putting our utmost effort into the inspection and management of temporary housing so that residents affected by the wildfire can return to a stable daily life as soon as possible." He added, "We will not only focus on the swift progress of the project but also pay close attention to on-site communication and administration to ensure that there is no inconvenience during their stay."
