In particular, visual materials and multilingual resources were provided together to lower language barriers and offer customized education, enabling multicultural voters to easily understand the voting process.
Participants in the training said, "Listening to and experiencing the history of electing the president by voting in Korea gave us an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of democracy," and added, "We will also teach our children about the importance of voting as democratic citizens."
After the training, participants expressed their willingness to participate in voting by holding placards that read, "Vote in the 21st Presidential Election. We are the owners."
Yoon Hyekyung, Director of the Seo-gu Family Center, stated, "Multicultural immigrants must also exercise their rights as proud voters of Korea," and added, "We will continue to support the voting participation of multicultural voters through various customized education and campaigns in the future."
