Recruiting Companies for CES Innovation Award Challenge

Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Taeyeol) is launching the "2025 Content Business Global Expansion Consulting" program, a customized consulting initiative designed to support Busan-based content companies in entering global markets and winning CES Innovation Awards.
Applications for participating companies will be accepted until June 4.
This program targets content companies in the Busan area that possess innovative content and services. It offers consulting on preparing for the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Innovation Awards and provides guidance on global expansion strategies. In particular, this is the first time in Busan that consulting for content companies is being directly linked to the CES Innovation Awards, laying a foundation for local companies to enter overseas markets.
Last year, the agency supported CES Innovation Award consulting for companies in the IT sector, resulting in awards in five categories. This year, it has expanded the scope to include the content sector, broadening the range of opportunities for participation.
Eligible applicants are Busan-based content companies that have launched or are about to launch content or services. Companies wishing to apply for the 2026 CES Innovation Awards in content-related fields?such as "Content & Entertainment," "Filmmaking & Distribution," "XR & Spatial Computing," and "Artificial Intelligence" among the 36 award categories?are eligible to participate.
Notably, starting this year, the program will also include advanced technology content fields such as film production technology, AI-based scenario writing, and visual effects (VFX), through collaboration with the Cannes Film Festival’s industry program "Marche du Film." This has further expanded participation opportunities for content companies.
Selected companies will receive a variety of tailored support, including: ▲ guidance on preparing CES Innovation Award applications and coaching in both Korean and English ▲ marketing strategy consulting ▲ strategy briefings and sharing of award-winning strategies ▲ support for application fees (up to KRW 1 million per company) ▲ and promotion of achievements. Approximately 10 companies will be selected in total.
Kim Taeyeol, President of Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "The CES Innovation Awards are a globally recognized stage for competition in technology and content," adding, "We hope this consulting program will help Busan content companies enhance their global competitiveness and provide real opportunities for market entry."
