Maeil Dairies announced on the 27th that its affiliate, Sangha Farm, has launched "Hwangto Sweet Potato Chips." "Hwangto Sweet Potato Chips" is a snack made by slicing pesticide-free sweet potatoes from Gochang with the skin on and deep-frying them.

A representative from Sangha Farm explained, "We targeted consumers who seek convenient yet healthy enjoyment, reflecting the recent 'healthy pleasure' trend that has become a popular consumer movement." This product, in particular, preserves the savory flavor and mild sweetness of sweet potatoes by frying raw sweet potatoes directly, rather than using a steaming process.
