Independence Hall of Korea and Overseas Koreans Cooperation Center Join Hands to Foster Identity

Promotion of Expanded Distribution of Historical Education Content

The Independence Hall of Korea announced on May 26 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Overseas Koreans Cooperation Center to promote identity development and to revitalize the core projects of both institutions.

This agreement was established to mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation, with the aim of fostering the identity of overseas Koreans around the world and strengthening pride in Korean heritage.

Under the agreement, the Independence Hall of Korea plans to expand the distribution of historical education content to participants of the "Next Generation Overseas Koreans Homeland Invitation Training," which will be conducted by the Center from June to August.

In addition, participants will be provided with guided tours of the exhibition halls and explanations of outdoor exhibits, enabling them to learn about and experience the history of the independence movement firsthand.

An official from the Independence Hall of Korea stated, "It is meaningful to be able to share various exhibition materials of the Hall with overseas Koreans," and added, "We will seek ways to cooperate in various fields, including educational projects, exhibitions, materials, and research."
