A 30,000-Pyeong Flower Garden
Spectacular Scenery Draws a Steady Stream of Tourists
The Eoboksil area in Heonmun-ri, Daegaya-eup, Goryeong-gun, is drawing attention as a new local tourist attraction, with a spectacular view created by blue cornflowers.
Goryeong-gun (Governor Lee Namcheol) has created a cornflower garden on a 30,000-pyeong site in Eoboksil to provide a healing space in nature. In addition to cornflowers, various perennial flowers such as peonies, Belleza (dwarf gaura), and beardtongue have been planted, creating a vibrant landscape.
In particular, cornflowers, whose flower language is "happiness," offer a unique healing experience to visitors walking along the paths, as the blue petals gently sway in the wind and bring a sense of calm.
An official from the county stated, "We hope that Eoboksil will become established not just as a flower field, but as a representative natural healing space for Goryeong," adding, "We will continue to maintain the landscape and work to expand convenience facilities for tourists."
Currently, the Eoboksil flower garden is gaining popularity on social media, attracting visitors every weekend, and is expected to have a positive impact on revitalizing the local economy.
