This contest is a prestigious event hosted by the Gyeonggi Bodybuilding Association and jointly organized by the Gyeonggi Province and Paju City Bodybuilding Associations. Elite bodybuilding and fitness athletes representing various cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province participated in large numbers.

Park, competing as a member of the Gwangju City Green Fit Korea Team, prepared thoroughly for her first competition by training intensely for four hours daily and strictly managing her diet. Despite being her debut, she demonstrated a high level of skill and drew attention by placing 2nd.

Park Geunhye expressed her gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank Jeong Byeongseon, President of the Gyeonggi Bodybuilding Association, for encouraging me to grow as an elite athlete of the Korea Bodybuilding Association as a member of the Gwangju City Green Fit Korea Team." She added, "I am very happy to have achieved such a good result at my first body fitness competition."

She continued, "I will take pride in being an elite athlete of the Korea Bodybuilding Association and strive to improve every year." She also stated, "In particular, I will work even harder with the goal of being selected as a representative athlete for the 2026~2027 Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival, which will be held in Gwangju City for the first time in 72 years."

Meanwhile, Gwangju City is currently implementing comprehensive sports promotion policies that encompass both recreational and professional sports. The challenges and achievements of its public officials are expected to play a positive role in revitalizing the local sports culture.
