In March, the district established a volunteer organization called the 'Illegal Filming Inspection Civic Volunteer Group.' Twenty volunteers, working in pairs, are conducting intensive inspections at 46 elementary, middle, and high schools in the district. Using specialized equipment such as radio frequency and lens detectors, they thoroughly check school restrooms and changing rooms for illegal filming devices. So far, inspections have been completed at 24 schools, and the district plans to expand inspections to public facilities outside of schools in the future.

Additionally, the district has placed 20 illegal filming detection devices at the district office and local community centers, making them available for free rental. With advance reservation, the equipment can be borrowed for up to three days, allowing not only schools but also individuals and private facilities to proactively prevent illegal filming crimes in everyday spaces.

Furthermore, Dongjak District is working to create a safer living environment for residents through customized crime prevention initiatives, such as installing residential intrusion detection devices in areas with high concentrations of multi-family and multi-household residences, creating 'Safe Mirror Paths,' and distributing safety equipment to single-person households.

Park Ilha, Mayor of Dongjak District, stated, "We are implementing special measures to prevent illegal filming crimes and to create a safe educational and living environment," adding, "We will continue to expand policies to make Dongjak a district safe from crime."
