Introducing New Products Such as PET Film for the European Market
"Expanding Local Portfolio to Increase Market Share"
Hyundai L&C has unveiled new products targeting local European trends at the world's largest furniture materials exhibition.
On May 25, Hyundai L&C announced that it had participated in 'Interzum 2025,' which was recently held in Cologne, Germany. Interzum is the world's largest furniture materials exhibition, held every two years. This year, more than 1,600 companies from the global building materials, furniture, and interior industries participated.

At this exhibition, Hyundai L&C introduced its newly developed thermoformable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film. This film is specially designed for thermoforming processes, allowing it to closely adhere even to curved surfaces when wrapping furniture and similar items. It can cover an entire piece of furniture, including the corners, in a single application without visible seams, making it an optimal product for the 'zero edge' trend in European interior design. Zero edge refers to a construction method that achieves a seamless, clean finish with no visible joints at the edges.
In addition, Hyundai L&C showcased new furniture films such as 'Metal,' 'Emboss,' and 'Pearl.' The company also introduced functional products that are resistant to fingerprints and scratches, as well as eco-friendly recycled PET films.
The company also presented new products in its Hanex artificial marble line, including 'Urban Shard,' 'Calacatta Glory,' and 'Black Desert.' In particular, 'Urban Shard' is an upcycled product that utilizes crushed and processed leftover materials generated during the Hanex manufacturing process, with recycled content reaching 20%.
A Hyundai L&C representative stated, "We plan to continue expanding our sales network and product portfolio to increase our market share in the European furniture film and artificial marble sectors."
