The launch ceremony, held at Yunsangwon Hall on the 7th floor of the district office, was attended by 29 participants from businesses, labor organizations, civic groups, and experts, who also held the first regular meeting. The Sustainable Job Council serves as a dedicated social dialogue body for the creation of a special zone for sustainable jobs in Gwangsan District. Through discussions in various subcommittees involving diverse sectors, the council will develop pilot project models and policy proposals. Kang Yongseon, chairman of Daewoong SNT Co., Ltd., was elected as the private sector co-chair.

Going forward, a dialogue structure will be operated around four subcommittees?manufacturing, private services, public services, and community jobs?where citizens and workers will directly seek solutions. The composition of the subcommittees will be determined through an open recruitment process. In addition, the district plans to operate a special zone team led by experts and a nationwide online participation platform, linking these efforts to the creation of the 'White Paper' and the subsequent implementation plan, the 'Blue Paper'.
