On this day, Speaker Woo stated on social media, "If delivery companies and others do not take measures such as designating the election day as a holiday, it will in fact be difficult for delivery workers and others to participate in this presidential election," adding, "Extraordinary measures are needed for those who are in a blind spot when it comes to exercising their suffrage."

Speaker Woo continued, "I hope that delivery companies and others will actively seek measures such as designating the election day as a holiday so that not a single citizen is restricted from exercising their precious right to vote," and added, "I also urge the administration to prepare every possible measure to ensure that all citizens can exercise their constitutional right to participate in elections."

The previous day, the Democratic Party’s election committee had also called for designating the election day as a 'no delivery day' to guarantee the voting rights of delivery workers.
