Diva Jessica (41, real name Lee Seungjoo), a popular YouTuber with 2.57 million subscribers, is reported to have purchased a building in Daechi-dong, Seoul for approximately 12.8 billion KRW.
According to a report by Maeil Business Newspaper on May 21, Diva Jessica, through her corporation JBS E&M where she serves as CEO, acquired a building in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on April 16 under the company’s name. The building has three basement floors and seven floors above ground (land area: 181.3㎡/total floor area: 637.42㎡) and was purchased for 12.85 billion KRW, with the final payment completed on April 25.
The building purchased by Diva Jessica is located within a one-minute walk from Hanti Station on the Suin-Bundang Line, making it highly accessible and situated in a prime commercial area. It is currently fully leased to a hospital and academies, which is expected to generate stable rental income.
A real estate expert commented, "Due to the characteristics of Daechi-dong, there is a steady demand for academies and a low vacancy rate, making it a stable asset. The building is currently leased to a hospital and academies. Rental income is also expected to remain stable in the future."
Diva Jessica began her career in 2013 on AfreecaTV with English-language content and is now recognized as a first-generation YouTuber who has steadily gained popularity by producing 'horror content' covering global mystery cases, unsolved crimes, and urban legends.
She currently operates a YouTube channel with 2.57 million subscribers and serves as CEO of JBS E&M, where she fosters and develops creators such as Bubble Dia and Diva Jenny. In 2019, Diva Jessica was named one of the "30 Power YouTubers in Korea" by Forbes.
