Exclusive Facility for Guests: Tennis + Vacation Now Possible
New Package Combines Room and Facility Access
Lotte Hotel World announced on May 22 that it has opened an indoor tennis court exclusively for guests, built to international standards?the first of its kind among domestic hotels?and is launching the 'Ace Stay' package to commemorate the opening.
The tennis court is located on the fifth floor of Lotte Hotel World. The facility was created by renovating part of the existing indoor golf practice range. The single court, built to international standards, covers 974 square meters (approximately 295 pyeong), and the ceiling reaches a maximum height of 13.8 meters?equivalent to the sixth floor of an apartment building?offering a spacious and open atmosphere. According to the company, the floor is made of urethane with an acrylic coating, which reduces knee fatigue and minimizes friction.
The package is available for either two or four people. Both options include a one-hour pass for the indoor tennis court, as well as towels, headbands, and wristbands from the American sports brand Wilson as standard benefits.
The two-person package, designed for singles matches, includes one Club Deluxe room with Club Lounge access, two Delica Hans take-out health juices, and sauna access for two. The four-person package, suitable for doubles matches, includes two Club Deluxe rooms, four health juices, and sauna access for four.
The tennis court operates from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests can select their preferred court time at check-in, and Lotte Hotel World Fitness members can also use the tennis court by making a reservation in advance.
According to industry sources, as of last year, the tennis population in Korea approached 900,000. In particular, as the MZ generation (Millennials and Generation Z) drives the spread of a lifestyle combining health and leisure, tennis is becoming more than just a hobby?it's establishing itself as a cultural trend.
A Lotte Hotel World representative stated, "Guests can enjoy leisure and a hotel vacation (hotel + vacation) regardless of the weather at the only indoor tennis court in a domestic hotel built to international standards," adding, "We will continue to introduce customized packages that combine sports and lifestyle for our guests."
