Korea Teachers' Credit Union Holds "13th S2B Integrity Contract Excellence Institution Awards Ceremony"

Sequential Ceremonies Held in Yeongnam, Honam, Central, and Seoul Metropolitan Areas

The Korea Teachers' Credit Union announced on the 21st that it will sequentially hold the "13th S2B Integrity Contract Excellence Institution Awards Ceremony" across four regions nationwide: Yeongnam, Honam, Central, and the Seoul Metropolitan Area.

The union selected 53 outstanding institutions (3 metropolitan and provincial offices of education, 16 district offices of education, and 34 schools of various levels) that contributed to the activation of S2B usage, based on evaluation criteria such as usage performance and year-on-year change rates in both amount and number of transactions. In addition to recognizing these institutions, the union also plans to award individuals (4 people) and groups (2 organizations) who have carried out various activities, including policy development, educational training lectures, and promotion of best practices, separate from the selection of outstanding institutions.

Jung Gap-yoon, Chairman of the union, stated, "I would like to thank the institutions and stakeholders who actively utilized the S2B system over the past year," adding, "We will continue to do our best to enhance the convenience of contract operations and to create a transparent contracting environment."

The union has signed agreements to promote S2B usage with 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education and 14 district offices of education nationwide. In January 2023, it officially launched the "Local Government Contract Platform S2B" for local governments, expanding the number of user institutions and strengthening its position as an e-procurement system.
