Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, Attends Launch Ceremony for "2025 Domestic Aerospace Camp"

Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the launch ceremony for the "2025 Domestic Aerospace Camp" held at the district office annex on the afternoon of May 20.

The "Domestic Aerospace Camp" is a program organized by the Yeongdeungpo District Future Education Foundation. It aims to help local students grow into future talents with scientific inquiry skills and creativity by providing opportunities to visit outstanding science and culture facilities and participate in hands-on learning experiences.

A total of 26 middle school students selected as camp members attended the launch ceremony. From May 23 to May 24, the students will visit the Naro Space Center & Space Science Museum in Goheung and the National Gwangju Science Museum to broaden their understanding of science and technology.

Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "I hope this camp will be a valuable experience for students who dream of a future in science and technology," and added, "We will continue to provide a variety of support so that Yeongdeungpo youth can experience a wider world."
