Available at 1,000 Stores in Seoul and Gyeonggi
Recharge from 30,000 to 300,000 Won and Register to Use
Korean Air announced on May 20 that it has launched a physical version of the 'Korean Air Gift Card' to expand customer touchpoints.
The Korean Air Gift Card is an online voucher that can be used like cash on the Korean-language website and mobile application. Previously, it was only available for purchase online, but starting today, it can also be purchased at GS25 convenience stores in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. It is available at approximately 1,000 stores, and customers can find participating locations through the 'Woori Neighborhood GS' mobile app.
This gift card is prepaid and can be loaded with amounts ranging from 30,000 won to 300,000 won at GS25 checkout counters. After purchase, customers can register the card number and PIN on the gift card menu of the Korean Air website.
To commemorate the launch of the physical gift card, Korean Air is holding a promotion until June 20. During the event period, one customer who purchases gift cards totaling 500,000 won or more on the official sales website will be selected by lottery to receive one international flight ticket (choice of Southeast Asia or Japan routes). In addition, 100 customers who purchase the physical gift card at GS25 and enter the event will be selected by lottery to receive a hamburger set gifticon.
A Korean Air representative stated, "We also plan to introduce a physical gift card with a standard card design that can be purchased in bulk by corporate clients," adding, "We hope this will make it easier for people to give gifts to their loved ones and share the excitement of travel."
