Discussion on Measures to Revitalize Joint Projects
Chairman Kim Moonsik: "Development of New Models"
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on May 20, 2025, that it held the first Joint Business Committee meeting of the year at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
The Joint Business Committee is a forum for reviewing current issues related to joint projects of SME cooperatives, discovering new joint business opportunities, and discussing institutional improvements and future development directions. The committee meeting was attended by 11 members, including Kim Moonsik, the newly appointed chairman and head of the Korea Gas Station Operators Cooperative.
The committee shared the progress of joint business support projects and the status of joint business support funds for this year. It also discussed ways to discover new joint business opportunities by sector and to revitalize existing joint projects, all based on the joint business support funds.
Chairman Kim stated, "Going forward, I hope to see greater participation and contributions from large corporations, financial institutions, and other economic stakeholders to further activate joint business support funds. I also look forward to the development of new joint business models that can generate synergy among industry-specific cooperatives."
