Interim Report Meeting Held
for Establishment of Long-Term Comprehensive Investment Attraction Plan
Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province is accelerating the establishment of strategies to secure future growth engines, including the full-scale preparation of investment attraction strategies to drive future growth.
On May 19, the city held an interim report meeting for the "Sacheon City Investment Attraction Long-Term Comprehensive Plan Establishment Service" in the mayor's office, with more than 20 related department officials, including Mayor Park Dongsik, in attendance.

During the meeting, participants shared interim results on the analysis of Sacheon City's investment environment and strategies for identifying promising industries, and discussed the direction and implementation plans for future investment attraction strategies.
In particular, there were in-depth discussions on the analysis of Sacheon City's industrial and economic conditions; trends in domestic and international investment environments and policies; identification of promising investment attraction industries unique to Sacheon; development and attraction strategies by region; and vision and attraction strategies in the culture and tourism sectors.
The city aims to create a high value-added industrial ecosystem centered on the aerospace industry, linking future industries such as future mobility, advanced materials, and energy. It also plans to foster a business-friendly environment by expanding supporting infrastructure and strengthening investment incentives.
Mayor Park Dongsik stated, "This plan is a blueprint for investment attraction that will enable Sacheon City to achieve sustainable growth even ten years from now," adding, "We will develop effective strategies through collaboration between the private sector and the administration, and leap forward as an industry-leading city of the future."
