"Companies Increasing Investments in Office Spaces... Outlook Is Bright"
Collaboration with Space Design Firms; Launch of Exclusive Line in Second Half of Year
Entering the B2B Market Based on B2C Competitiveness
On May 19, Hanssem announced its entry into the office interior and furniture market. This decision was made to secure new growth engines and diversify its business structure amid a prolonged industry downturn.
Hanssem analyzed that the outlook for the office market is promising. Since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, remote work is being reduced or discontinued, and companies are increasing their investments in office spaces to improve work efficiency and employee welfare.
Hanssem cited its greatest competitive advantage in the office market as its ability to propose solutions for all office spaces. The company explained that, because it offers products in all categories?including study rooms, student rooms, storage, sofas, and tables?its existing product lineup is sufficient to create a complete office environment.

Currently, Hanssem is collaborating not only with general corporate clients but also with companies specializing in creating unique spaces. In the second half of this year, Hanssem plans to launch a new line of office-exclusive products and actively target the office market. Hanssem's office business will be carried out by its Special Sales Division, which is responsible for B2B (business-to-business) operations.
Hanssem expects that its competitiveness in the B2C (business-to-consumer) market will strengthen its position in the B2B market, and that this, in turn, will enhance brand trust in the B2C market. The company believes that building recognition and trust in the office furniture market will naturally have a positive impact on the general furniture market, creating a virtuous cycle that expands positive customer experiences.
A Hanssem representative stated, "Recently, consumers no longer perceive the office and home as completely separate spaces, and experiences in office spaces appear to provide significant inspiration for home environments. Based on decades of research and expertise in Korean lifestyle, we will propose the most comfortable and pleasant office spaces for working professionals."
