Applications Open Until May 25 for 10 Seoul Residents Aged 19 to 39 Seeking Employment
Seoul's First "Yeongdeungpo Youth Architecture School" Launches Customized Technical Training Course
Yeongdeungpo District (District Mayor Choi Hokwon) announced that it will offer a fully subsidized "Architectural Painting Technician" training course at the Yeongdeungpo Youth Architecture School to help young job seekers acquire professional technical certifications. Applications for participation are open until May 25.
The Yeongdeungpo Youth Architecture School is the first technical education institution for young people established by a district in Seoul. It operates a variety of training programs with the aim of nurturing young talent with expertise in interior and architectural fields and creating differentiated job opportunities.
This Architectural Painting Technician course will recruit 10 young job seekers aged 19 to 39 residing in Seoul, with priority given to residents of Yeongdeungpo District.
The training covers ▲painting surface preparation and methods ▲painting quality inspection and defect repair ▲safety management and post-work cleaning and maintenance. Participants are required to bring their own necessary materials.
In particular, this course will be conducted with a small class size to strengthen individualized instruction. After completion, participants will receive systematic follow-up support, including mock exams and application assistance for the certification test.
Applications can be submitted through the Yeongdeungpo Youth Architecture School website. For inquiries, contact the Youth Architecture School or the Youth Policy Division of the district office.
Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "I hope that through the Youth Architecture School, young people can learn professional skills that are not easily accessible and design new career paths," adding, "We will continue to provide effective training programs in the future."
