Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia who is often referred to as the "Emperor of Artificial Intelligence (AI)," will deliver the opening keynote speech at "Computex 2025," which takes place in Taipei, Taiwan on May 19, 2025.

During his speech at the Taipei Music Center, Huang is expected to unveil new AI chips and system concepts. Speaking to local reporters the previous day, he stated, "There are many new announcements to make, including new designs and products for AI systems."

At last year's event, Nvidia introduced its next-generation graphics processing unit (GPU) "Rubin" for the first time. Huang revealed that the "Blackwell Ultra" is scheduled for release in the second half of this year, while "Rubin" is planned for launch next year, emphasizing, "We will push technology to its limits." There is also speculation that additional, previously unannounced products may be revealed.

Huang is also expected to revisit his vision for the "AI Factory," a concept he has consistently highlighted. This refers to a system that enables companies to create their own AI models and deploy them as services in an automated manner. Nvidia is pursuing a strategy to supply the software and technologies necessary for this process.

There is significant interest in whether the location of Nvidia's new research lab in Taiwan will be announced during the keynote. Upon his arrival in Taiwan on May 16, Huang mentioned, "I may be able to announce it after the keynote," adding that "the entire island of Taiwan is being considered as a candidate."

Immediately after arriving, Huang held a private meeting with Mark Liu, Chairman of TSMC, and the following day attended a dinner with senior executives from Taiwanese component manufacturers. He is also scheduled to meet Morris Chang, the founder of TSMC, in the evening. During the event, he will visit partner company booths to observe the exhibition, and on May 21, he is scheduled to participate in a Q&A session with the media.

Computex 2025 will be held over four days from May 20 to May 23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. This year's theme is "The Next Stage of Artificial Intelligence," with approximately 1,400 companies from 29 countries operating more than 4,800 booths. As in previous years, over 80,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.

During the event, keynote speeches will be delivered by leaders of global companies such as Qualcomm, Foxconn, MediaTek, and NXP. There will also be technical presentations and discussions on topics including generative AI, robotics technology, and edge technologies.

From Korea, SK Hynix will participate for the second consecutive year, showcasing high-speed memory and server DRAM, while Samsung Display will set up a booth for the first time to present new display technologies for information technology devices. Key issues drawing attention include negotiations between Samsung Electronics and Nvidia regarding high-bandwidth memory supply, as well as the impact of U.S. export controls and tariff policies.

A Computex official stated, "Jensen Huang is a leader in AI," adding, "He is expanding the boundaries of innovation in areas such as accelerated computing, physical AI, and agent AI, and Computex has grown into a core platform."
