Hanwha-Hoban Consortium Secures Construction Contract for Sinwol 7-dong District 2 Public Redevelopment Project Public Redevelopment Master Plan of Sinwol 7-dong District 2. Provided by Hanwha Construction Division.

The Sinwol 7-dong District 2 Residents' Representative Council announced on the 18th that it held a general meeting of land and property owners and officially selected the Hanwha-Hoban consortium (H Project Group) as the final contractor. Sinwol 7-dong District 2 is a public redevelopment zone covering approximately 98,000 square meters (about 30,000 pyeong) at 941 Sinwol-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) is participating as the project executor for this public housing project.

Through this development, a total of 2,245 apartment units in 19 buildings ranging from five basement levels to 14 stories above ground, along with various ancillary welfare facilities, are planned to be built. The number of units was slightly increased from the original plan of 2,228, thereby enhancing both the business viability and residential convenience.

The H Project Group applied a resort-style courtyard design featuring 13 themed parks throughout the complex, and maximized sunlight, ventilation, and views by arranging most units in a plate-type layout with more than 95% facing south. In addition, the range of floor plans was expanded from the original five basic types to nine specialized types, broadening the choices for a diverse range of residents. The exterior design also reflects a premium strategy, with aluminum panel art walls and three-dimensional patterned facades planned. Community facilities will be arranged along public pedestrian pathways, presenting a specialized design that considers both efficient internal circulation and the lifestyle of residents.

A representative from Hanwha Construction Division and Hoban Construction stated, "Based on the technological capabilities and construction experience of both companies, we will complete Sinwol 7-dong District 2 as the top landmark in the southwestern area of Seoul."
