Daegu Veterans Office Delivers Birthday Greetings to 103-Year-Old Korean War Veteran

"Longevity Celebration Jackpot" Event Held

On May 16, the Daegu Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Kim Jongsul) personally visited the home of Mr. Jin, a 103-year-old Korean War veteran whose birthday falls in May, to deliver birthday greetings and express their gratitude.

This visit was organized in celebration of Family Month to honor the dedication of national patriots and to check on the well-being of elderly veterans. In addition, a special birthday event called "Longevity Celebration Jackpot" was held, creating an unforgettable memory for Mr. Jin.


Mr. Jin expressed his joy, saying, "Thank you for celebrating my birthday again this year, just as you did last year. Thanks to you, I have gained another precious memory."


Kim Jongsul, Director of the Daegu Regional Veterans Affairs Office, stated, "It was very meaningful to visit in person and convey our gratitude. We will do our best to ensure a happy retirement for veterans' families through a variety of customized welfare support programs."


The Daegu Regional Veterans Affairs Office plans to continue conducting birthday greetings throughout the year for national patriots aged 100 and above, in order to honor their 'great dedication.'
